Historical item Pricing Service (HIPS) provides aggregated metrics (average price, minimum price, maximum price) from actual marketplace sales of Books, Music, Video and DVD items sold from 2002 until present in the US. The data will help guide pricing and purchasing decisions and improve sellers' businesses.

Usage & Restrictions |
- You may not resell or redistribute the content in any way without Amazon.com's written approval.
- You may make 1 request per second to the HIPS service.
- You will not use the HIPS Data in any way that allows a third party to (1) Derive site-wide statistics from any web site owned or operated by Amazon.com or its Affiliates; (2) or derive gross gross merchandise sales or other statistics related to performance (financial or otherwise ).
- You may store the HIPS Data for up to seven (7) days.
