In 2005, Two-factor authentication was mandated by the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council. In order to meet this mandate, World Savings contracted the RSA Adaptive Authentication Solution and I worked to integrate the Online World Savings experience with this service.

Two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication (TFA or 2FA) means using two independent means of evidence to assert a user's identity. Like asking for a password plus an image or a security quesiton.
